Privacy Policy
Effective Date: November 1, 2026
1. Introduction
Welcome to SalesPath. This Privacy Policy is issued by SalesPath LLC, 945 North Point Drive #1171, Alpharetta, GA 30022, United States ("SalesPath", "we", "our", "us"), which is the controller of the personal information described below. We value your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy outlines how we collect, use, and safeguard your data when you use our app.
2. Information We Collect
We collect the following types of information to provide and improve our services:
Personal Information
- Name: Collected during account creation and used for user profiles. We share this information with service providers who process it on our behalf, such as our authentication, analytics, payment and AI processing providers.
- Email: Collected during account creation and used for user profiles and communications, such as sending important updates or information about your account. We share this information with service providers who process it on our behalf, such as our authentication, analytics, payment and AI processing providers.
- UserId: Generated automatically during account creation to uniquely identify your account. This identifier is shared for observability purposes to ensure the app functions correctly.
- Contacts: Collected when you choose to import contacts into the app to use the functionality for sending quotes. We share this information with service providers who process it on our behalf in order to deliver the app's features, such as our search indexing and AI processing providers.
Non-Personal Information
- Zipcode: Automatically collected to help us understand where our users are located for observability purposes. This information is shared for observability.
Reviewing and Updating Your Information
You can review and update the personal information in your account at any time from the Settings screen. For anything you cannot change there, contact us at support@getsalespath.com.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To Provide and Maintain Our Service: Ensuring the app functions correctly, including troubleshooting, data analysis, testing, and conducting research.
- To Improve Our Service: Understanding usage patterns and user preferences to enhance user experience and develop new features.
- To Communicate with You: Sending you updates, notifications, and important information about your account and the app. This includes responding to your comments, questions, and requests for customer support.
- To Personalize Your Experience: Customizing our services to better suit your preferences and to provide you with content tailored to your interests.
- To Ensure Security: Monitoring and analyzing activities to ensure the security and safety of our services and prevent fraudulent activities.
4. Data Security
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. Data is encrypted in transit between your device and our servers and is stored in encrypted form. Access to your data is limited to your account, to others in your organization according to the permissions you configure, and to our personnel and service providers where necessary to operate, support and secure the service.
5. Artificial Intelligence Features
How AI Features Work
Some SalesPath features use artificial intelligence to help you work with your data — for example, summarizing information, classifying support requests, or helping you prepare a quote. When you use one of SalesPath's own AI features, the information needed to answer your request is sent to our AI processing provider, Google Cloud, and is processed on servers located in the United States. This may include customer names, company names, quote details, and the text of your request. Google processes this information on our behalf as our service provider, under a data processing agreement, and is contractually prohibited from using it to train or fine-tune any artificial intelligence models.
Your Control
AI features are made available on an opt-in basis and are not enabled for every account. Where an AI feature is available to you, you will be told that you are interacting with an artificial intelligence system before you use it.
Accuracy and Your Review
AI-generated content may be inaccurate or incomplete. You remain responsible for reviewing any AI-generated content before relying on it or sending it to a customer. An AI feature does not change your data on its own — any proposed change is presented to you for confirmation first.
Abuse Prevention
Google may retain a copy of requests that its automated systems flag as potentially violating its acceptable use policy for up to 90 days, and its staff may review flagged content. This is a safety mechanism and is not used to train models.
Connecting SalesPath to an AI Assistant You Choose
You can choose to connect SalesPath to a third-party AI assistant, such as Claude by Anthropic, using a connector. When you connect, you sign in to SalesPath, choose one of your organizations, and approve the connection. The assistant can then read information from that organization when you ask it to, such as your quotes, products, clients and client notes, vendors, price history and commission reports and summaries. If the connection you approve includes permission to make changes, the assistant can also make these changes when you ask it to. It can create draft quotes. On draft quotes you created, it can add, change or remove line items and their notes, and change details such as notes for your customer, internal notes, PO and job numbers, terms, freight, tax and expiry date. If you are an owner or admin of that organization, it can also add or change line items and change those details on draft quotes your teammates created, and each such change adds a dated note with your name to the quote's internal notes. On draft quotes you created, it can also change the ship-to and bill-to addresses, refresh the client details it copied from the client and, in an enterprise organization, change the sales rep. It can create clients and add notes to clients. On a client you can edit in SalesPath, it can change the first or last name, company, email or phone, and set or replace the client's logo from an image link you give it. To do that, SalesPath downloads the image from the link and keeps a copy as the logo. It can also set the ship-to and bill-to addresses of clients it creates and of clients you can edit and, in an enterprise organization, their sales rep. It can add new products to your catalog under a vendor already in SalesPath, including their cost if you are an owner or admin of that organization. If you are an owner or admin, it can also update the cost of products already in your catalog. It has to preview each cost change first. Those changes are made on your behalf and are recorded as yours, together with a note that they were made through the connection and which assistant made them. The assistant can also create a commission report from a won quote, and change the rates, vendor cost, amount owed, notes, notes to the vendor, client PO number and vendor SO number of a draft or sent commission report. If you also allow status changes when you connect, the assistant can, when you ask, mark quotes you created as sent, won, lost or paid. It has to preview each change first and is instructed to ask you before making it; your AI app may also ask you to approve it, unless you have set it to always allow. Each change is recorded as yours, with a note that it was made through the connection and which assistant made it. Marking a quote sent only records that you sent it; SalesPath sends nothing to your client. With status changes allowed, the assistant can also mark commission reports paid or unpaid when you ask. A connection cannot send, email or delete a quote, or delete a client. It cannot remove a product already in your catalog, or change anything about one except its cost. A connection cannot send, void or delete a commission report. Other than those changes and the feedback and support requests described below, it cannot change anything in SalesPath.
What a connected assistant reads from SalesPath, including information about your clients, is sent to the provider of that assistant at your direction. From then on, the copy that provider receives is governed by your agreement with it, not by this Privacy Policy. That provider is not our service provider, and we do not control how it stores or uses that information: it processes the information under your agreement with it and its privacy policy, may process it outside the United States, and may use it as that agreement allows. You are responsible for making sure you are permitted to share your clients' information with that provider. Please review that provider's terms and privacy policy before you connect.
With permission to make changes, the assistant can also send feedback and feature ideas to the SalesPath product team. It sends feedback when you ask it to, or when it suggests an idea and you agree to send it. Feedback is linked to your account and to the connected organization, and we may use it to improve SalesPath. Please do not include your clients' information in feedback. We do not promise to reply to feedback or to tell you what happens to it.
With permission to make changes, the assistant can also send a support request to SalesPath support when you ask it to, or when it suggests one and you agree to send it, for example to report an error or wrong data. SalesPath staff read it and answer by email at the address on your account. A support request is linked to your account and to the connected organization, and we handle it like a request you send from Settings in the app. It includes a short record of the connection's recent errors (which action failed, the kind of error and when), not what you or the assistant wrote. It includes your quotes, clients or other information only if you put them in the message.
We keep a record of each connection (which assistant, which organization it can access, whether it can make changes, whether status changes are allowed, when it was created and last used) to operate and secure it. The record also names the version of the consent text you were shown when you approved the connection and each newer version you approve later, with the date of that approval. A connection stops working within 15 minutes after you revoke it under Settings, then AI assistants, in the SalesPath web app (salespath.app), after you delete your SalesPath account, or after you leave the organization it is connected to. Removing SalesPath inside your AI assistant stops that assistant from using it, but may not revoke the connection on SalesPath, so revoke it there as well.
AI Assistant Connections: Recipients, Retention and Your Controls
What a connected assistant can access. Only information in the one organization you chose when you connected, and only what you can see there yourself: quotes, clients and client notes, products, vendors and commissions. It receives what it asks for while you use it. The assistant is provided by Anthropic (Claude), OpenAI (ChatGPT) or xAI (Grok), or another provider you choose, and that provider receives the information the assistant requests. What the provider does with it is governed by your agreement with that provider and its privacy policy, as described above.
What we store about a connection. The connection record described above: which assistant, which organization, the permissions you granted, and when it was created and last used, together with your user ID. It does not contain the content of your quotes, clients or notes. The sign-in codes and refresh tokens that keep a connection working are stored only as one-way hashes, and are deleted automatically about a day after they expire.
How long we keep it. We delete a connection record about 30 days after the connection is revoked or expires. When you delete your account, your connection records and the feedback you sent are deleted from our systems automatically. Copies of feedback that were emailed to our team, and any support request you sent, are not deleted automatically; Section 7 describes how we handle support requests. We keep a small record of which AI assistant you connected and when, without the connection's permissions or any content, to understand how people find SalesPath. It is not deleted when a connection ends or when you delete your account. Our connector server also writes a log line for each request and each tool call: the time, the tool used, the result, the connection and organization IDs and the IDs of the records involved. These lines are not meant to contain the text of your quotes, clients or notes. Logs are kept for a limited period and then deleted automatically. To ask us to delete a connection record or feedback sooner, email support@getsalespath.com.
Your controls. You can revoke a connection at any time under Settings, then AI assistants, in the SalesPath web app (salespath.app). You can choose whether to allow changes, and separately whether to allow status changes, when you approve a connection. You can delete your account as described in Section 7.
6. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
We do not use cookies for tracking purposes. However, we use third-party analytics services, such as Mixpanel, to help us understand how our users interact with our app. Mixpanel may collect information about your device and usage patterns over time as you use our app. This information is used to analyze and improve our services.
When you arrive on our website from a link that carries campaign tags (such as utm_source or utm_campaign) or from another website, we keep those campaign tags, the website you came from, the page you landed on, the time, and a random identifier in your browser's session storage. This is not a cookie. It stays in your browser for that visit only, and your browser clears it when you close the tab. We do not keep the value of any ad click identifier, only whether one was present. When you go from our website to the SalesPath web app, we add this information to the link, and when you go to Google Play we add only the campaign source, medium and name. If you sign up, SalesPath keeps what it received with your account. We use it to measure which marketing brings people to SalesPath.
Do Not Track
Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" setting, and some devices offer similar signals. We do not currently respond to these signals, as no consistent industry standard for them has been adopted.
7. Data Retention and Deletion
We keep your information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service.
You can delete your account at any time from Settings in the app or on the web, or by emailing support@getsalespath.com. When you delete your account, your sign-in and profile are removed right away. Within 30 days, we delete the remaining personal data associated with your account, including your personal organization and its content, your organization memberships, and your support requests, and we ask our analytics provider to delete its records about you, which can take several weeks to complete.
Some information is kept after deletion:
- Content you added to organizations you share with other people belongs to those organizations and stays with them.
- We keep billing and tax records for as long as the law requires.
- We keep a small record of each AI assistant connection you made (which assistant, your user ID and when it was created), as described in Section 5.
- Deleted information can remain in our encrypted backups and operational logs for a limited period before it is overwritten.
Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription purchased through the Apple App Store or Google Play; cancel it with Apple or Google.
8. Children's Privacy
Our app is not intended for children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at support@getsalespath.com.
9. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes. Changes to this Privacy Policy are effective when they are posted on this page.
10. Contact Us
